JBL-Design creates, innovative experiences that integrate the disciplines of Architecture, Urban Design and  Interior Design with Fine Art, and the Festival Arts.

Established in 1994 as Jackson Burnside Limited by principal Jackson L. Burnside 111, this team of creative and technical professionals specializes in the areas of resorts, visitor attractions, commercial and residential real estate development.

Our foundations in Art and Design and our experience in the region provide a focus on the cultural heritage to make special places, and to make us the unique choice of discriminating clients.

Character

Each project responds to the client’s vision to discover its own character as appropriate to the nature of the place and the conditions of the site.  Design and the look of an end product is determined by the history and culture of place and the common sense application of appropriate methods and materials of construction.

Creativity

There are no answers until the appropriate questions are asked. No particular discipline must necessarily lead the process.  All team members, including the client, have the opportunity to contribute to the successful conclusion.

Client Collaboration

We encourage client involvement in the statement of purpose, the development of Concepts and Design, and the execution of a project.
