In June, 2004, Dirk Saunders successfully completed a Masters degree in Suburban and Town Design at The University of Miami.

Employed at Jackson Burnside Limited since 1997, Dirk has always been committed to constant improvement. It is this committment that first led him to study Real Estate Development at The Graduate School of Design of the University of Pennsylvania, and then to the University of Miami.

At Miami, Dirk studied with the Internationally acclaimed Planners, Andres Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk of DPZ. This experience which took him to many cities and towns in various parts of the world, has left him with an extremely positive outlook on the future of Housing and Community Design in The Bahamas.
